Microsoft says US government is "advanced persistent threat" and Silicon Valley gears up cybersecurity

With NSA abuses revealed by Edward Snowden, and the US government being labeled an "advanced persistent threat" (a term used for cyber criminals--see below) by Microsoft and others, Silicon Valley now gears up cybersecurity -- with monetary payoffs looming --
