Google Drive on Windows desktop

Pretty soon we'll just boot up Windows to the desktop, and Google will take over from there--

Google Drive: "Today we’re making it easier for you to access Docs, Sheets, and Slides from your Windows computer. Now when you install Google Drive for your PC, you’ll see shortcut icons for each of the editors on your desktop and within the Google Drive folder in the Start menu.  To start creating, simply double click the editor icon of your choice and sign in to your Google account. Every document, presentation, and spreadsheet you create is automatically saved in your Drive. This change will roll out over the next week for all new Google Drive for PC installs." Be sure to also configure the Drive family of apps to work offline.

Google Drive joins cloud battle – USATODAY.com: "The oft-rumored and delayed data-storage service made its debut today, joining a growing list of high-tech players serving consumers and small businesses. Drive lets people store photos, documents and videos on Google's servers so that they are accessible from any Web-connected device and easily shared with others.
